Hi Fabrice, I don't work with layers or anything other than basic adjustments. I don't know how to create a background in photoshop. I carry a black piece of fleece with me that helps darken the background. It doesn't make it completely black though, but enough to help burn the dark areas in without accidentally burning light areas. Thanks for the kind words! Be well, Mike.
