Andre, thanks for your prompt answer. Yes, I did read the article from Ken Rockwell at http://www.kenrockwell.com/tech/raw.htm For publishing in 850 pix format at IO jpg image format is quite suitable, I agree. Best wishes, Harry

Hi Harry, When I first started using this camera, I read an article on the benefits of using RAW verses JPG. I think the article was by Ken Rockwell. Yes, the RAW files are huge by comparison and they do allow more manipulation in post processing. They might ultimately be better for printing and publishing. For my purposes, JPG high is quite adequate. Andre

It is a pleasure meeting you Andre. Question, I noticed you are using Jpeg norm as intermediate format and not Raw on the D200. Is this in order to save disc space ? Don't you loose quality ? Would like to know since I have the same camera .
