@Mary: well actually it's cut off on all sides! I only took close-ups, so I can't show you the whole flower (but I think you know what they look like). This wasn't really a serious image....I mostly had fun making all the colors in Photoshop. Doesn't it remind you of a bird?
and as for Fabio:.....let's wait and see.....maybe he's so disgusted with all these bright colors that he doesn't even comment it!

I can only imagine what Fabio would have to say about this. ;)
My greatest problem with this photo is the composition. It feels cut off at the bottom although I don't think it is. The end of the central part of the flower is gets lost in the darkness I think. Does that make sense? I want to see it all because I think this benefits from symmetry.
