I love the Lensbaby. It has freed up my photography. It did take some getting used to though, as all is manual focus, so there was a learning curve. I would suggest a course at ppsop.com if you decide to get the lens. It made a world of difference when I finally learned what I was doing wrong! :)

Anne, Happy New Year and thank you for your comments. You are right about the "who cares" f-stop and I was actually playing with the grain/noise--I wanted to give it a night "film" kind of feel, but perhaps I overdid a little--I may redo this shot

Beautiful light, Am wondering why you shot this at f/16. For an overall shot like this - a "who cares" aperture of f/8 would give you good clarity throughout. Don't know why you have so much noise here. I'm generally not bothered by noise though, as I used to shoot TriX black and white for it's graininess. Anne
