It is the special traditions that make this season unique to each of us. As a nativity scene reminds Christians of their heritage and faith; so does a menorah for the Jewish people. Kwanzaa reinforces desirable principles, concepts and practices as reflective of both traditional and modern concepts that evolved out of the lives and struggles of African-American people. Yet despite our different traditions, one thing remains- this is a time for giving, caring and sharing. So take a journey into times gone by and feel the warmth, listen to the laughter, wipe away tears, and relive the cherished memories that make our lives complete.
