I can not answer. Tamron and Tokina lens I have not tried. Sigma is the problem, with no stabilizers. Increase in the length of the tube when it focuses. This disorder is very close shot. shadows are doing. Canon optic? Regards: Tibor

Shy animals, insects and longer shooting 100 or 150mm macro lens with. You can work with them remotely. It is important that the short / 30, 50, 60-mm lens is too close to the topic, so the lighting is not always good. obscure the light of the objective. Stabilizer is necessary in any case. Autofocusing is not necessary, refine the manual mode. Regards: Tibor

Hey I am planning to buy a macro lens and what I eying is Canon 100mm Macro. As you use Sigma, do you recommend it? I have a Canon 450D camera.
