About This was taken during a winter hiking excursion on 'Leuka Ori' (White Mountains) in Krete,Greece.Me and my friend Dimitris had a great laugh setting up and taking this photo. For the viewers who might doubt that this is an original photo,I need to give the following info: the snow was frozen on that slope, and we found a spot where a hole was created, exposing the rocks underneath ('Leuka Ori' is one of the rockiest mountains in Greece).A cave-like opening was formed between two big rocks/under the snow, wide enough for Dimitris to get in.He then had the idea to start digging up the thin 'snow-roof' with his ice-axe,and a couple of minutes later the tip of his Simond emerged! We made the opening wide enough for his hand to get through,I gave him my own ice-axe to hold, and I quickly took just one picture, because my friend had already gotten soaked! ....so,this is the story behind the picture. And next time you see an image like this, please don't rush into conclusions. As I've said before,Photoshop is not the only creative weapon of the photographer, you know... :-)

Hi Kwsta! First one my congratulations for the originality of the subject. 2nd, about the photo, the quality looks pretty good because of th eclarity and the excellent exposure at the snow. Almost always the snow is overexposed and here your work is very good.

Yes, it is very nice and original shot, but did you lose your friend? :-))))) I think the ps is less dangerous weapon for you.
