No worries Vehbi.
I realise your health is not optimal so you dont need to apologise and your english is perfect. yes, image quality does not depend on the amount of pixels only;)
Thanks for the hints and advice and let me see what will follow ;)

Hi Harry.
Sorry for late answer.
You are right, Nikon isn't stupit. i think this is marketing policy of Canon. I have eos 50D "15 megapixels" body but outputs are worse than 40D "10 megapixels" or 30D "8 megapixels". I used all of them. I mean "megapixels" doesn't say everything about the quality.
Nikon D700 and D300 uses same sensor type of Canon and i dont hear any problems about this bodies. You have some Nikon lenses i know. Methinks, Nikon D300s or D700 is more reasonable for you.
This is just my opinion but all digital bodies needs a good lenses particularly.
I send to you some links below, I hope that helps your decision.

http://www.slrgear.com/reviews/index.php "you can find Nikon and Canon lenses for full frame and other sensor types test results this link"

It has been my hope that helps :-) sorry for my English again.

Stunning decomposition of a rope´s end. Fine details at different winding scales, like a meandering river where it once disappears in a large ocean.
A life line with a story.
Great capture Vehbi,
cheers,
Paul

the result of a creative mind, i love the fading at the ends !
Question: I am considering to buy a new body, I have the D50 from 2006 and it is 6 Megapixels. Now the D300 and D700 from nikon would be fine but I see they use only (??) 12 megapixels ( only important for prints and zooming in ) . Canon does have models going up to ~18 Megapixels. So why is that ?
Nikon aint stupid either, so what should i consider ?

Your mind is very sharp so for sure i get the right answer ;)
