That is sweet of you. He really was a character - a noble bright dog full of patience. I understand Lord Byron completely when thinking about the poem he wrote about his dead newfoundlanddog. This image is from my home with our new puppy Basse.

Oh he is dead:-( My gentle giant. His stomach twisted around causing tissuedeath and more - he´s in so much pain- just awful! Good that he could be relieved from his pain though but sad. We miss him but now we have another dog - a puppy who´s a mix between St. Bernard and German Shephard - a great dog but very different also in temper.
