By looking at the picture I could see you used the faster shutter speed. As far as the subject goes, wish if u had stopped a splahing wave on the rock. Certainly lighting looks little harsh, though. And there are flares too, are they?

BTW, whats a digital polarizer?

It seems a bit flat, and is a bit too bright. The colors could use a saturation bump up. Great surf tho. Nice.

this is a nice pic. You shot have tried to make different exposure with different measurments. I think an underexposure could have been better here. That is why the pic is just great not excellent.
