I have a similar shot taken along Wascana Creek here in Regina, nothing like a prairie winter to create a beautiful scene like this. Nicely captured Dave, you use the curve in the river effectively.

Fantastic light and a perfect composition.I believe you that it was very cold!!!I was in Winnipeg some years ago but it was in summer,very different but very beautiful as well!

The frost on the trees is a great photo opportunity Dave.
So far we haven't had exactly that situation here in Toronto this year. Or at least I wasn't out of bed in time. :)

Nice winter scene. We have had some very dramatic hoar frost as well. It has caused severe avalanche conditions in the upper elevations.. Keep warm my friend!!
