Extremely well taken in such a narrow DoF that only defines the face of the young child, Aziz! The small range of exact focus on its face expression stands out so very well in all the soft taken scene. It brings much tension and contrast this way!
The timing and the angle were great for getting those dark eyes so exact and convey their look - like two dark pieces of coal, with two sharp sparks of light in them. And the exposure balance surely preserved the anaglyph of the face in such an expression. This one is making the most out of something very ordinary. And this is the ability to shoot good images.
