About This is a silhouette that I added another sky to. The original was a solid gray sky, I liked the cloud structure added.
Be well, Stan

Thanks Shirley, I love the moment of this. I feel like this sky helped the drama in this. The blank gray before was so flat. Hope all is well.

Thanks Anindya, so glad you liked this. I am trying to learn the endless possibilities of Photoshop and the ability to create what you wanted to see in a shot that was missing. I appreciate your comment.

Thanks Ania, these birds are beautiful in flight and have these very large fan like tails. I was lucky to catch this moment. The new sky really added some mood to this one.

Thanks Ray, good to hear from you and glad to see some post of your Ireland trip. This post work was easy on this one with such a solid gray sky to replace. Old dog, new trick. My best, Stan

Well done on the postwork Stan it has added more drama to the scene than the original drab grey sky could do. The silhouetted bird looks great and to catch at the optimum moment as it launches itself off the tree is wonderful. Well done my friend. My very best wishes to you as always.........Ray

Hi Vijay, actually this was a one shot capture. I was surprised to have timed it so right. I was just getting my telephoto on my camera and was able to catch this before the bird was gone.

Thanks Brigitte, I just used a magic wand to select only the gray sky behind the bird and then pasted another sky in. A trick I found while googling my life away. I appreciate the compliments. I am getting some images ready for an art show in Aug and I am having a display in a Bank Aug and Sept. I have been out talking to people and shooting something almost every day. Have a great weekend!!

Amazing pose of this bird you captured here... and so dramatic with the bare tree branches... the silhouette against the sky is soo perfect! You really did a fantastic job with the post-processing. It looks like it was a lot of time-consuming work.... and to me it doesn't even look altered if you hadn't mentioned it. Good job, Stan!! Your images just keep getting better and better all the time!

Thanks Riny, I have a good batch of skies in my image collection. The clouds and structures of them always catch my eye in good light. Good to see some of your butterflies showing up these days. This was a shot from last year I liked but added some sky for impact.

Thanks Joe, I agree about being to centered but only shot I got as he was leaving. Tried some crops but left it as shot.. I think the clouds filled in the image with some texture and light contrast. Nice to hear from you. Here is the original image before post work.

Hi Stan,
Very nice silhouette and clouds.
The bird is a little too central in the composition for me. I would have tried it a little more to the left.
Joe
