Interesting surface picture. Nice array of green and brown tones. The colors also build up a composition, it is often the problem in this kind of photos that there is no composition.

many thanks for your kind tips! but, lamentably, I cannot put any filter on my crappy digi-cam and second, maybe the underexposed green would result in an even more slimy wet structure
:)

next time I'll try more digital processings.

Nice texture and colours. Try this shot again with a Polarizing filter. Also try to underexposed it (-0.5 i would say) This will give a better green colour.
