Tenés razón en algo, debería intentar con "painting with light" sobre detalles florales, podrían surgir imágenes interesantes.

It was the very mature color of the flowers that took my attantion in the thumb, Gustavo. The strength of that turquoise is very high, as it almost radiates. It has a very different charackter form your original which is also OK, though it could perhaps have a bit more contrast. This one has some few elements of a graphics image again, mixed up with reality in look and feel. The restricted color palette brings tightness in the whole composition. The good details and contours of good contrast are there but at the same time also the lines that remind me of inking a sketch. And the appearance of the flowers in a somewhat translucent way in some places adds a bit of that vague kind of an image in memory. BTW, perhaps such an image could also be well suited for the method of "painting with light".
Nice to look at.
