The transition of hue and light intensity from the top to the bottom looks very captivating here, Ian. It works well and without any zones that wouldn't fit inbetwen. The depicted objets fit therein also quite strongly as they appear rather as shadows of shapes than as real objects. The whole image has again that kind of "stamp" attitude that we see on many T-shirts nowadays. (Perhaps you'll be a new cloth designer? ;-))

Anyway, I see how subtle the needed differentiation between hues and light intensities can be in order to produce perceivable things.
