Taken on a miserable wet afternoon last summer, somewhere near Ireby in Lancashire UK. My mate and I walked about a mile to reach these pines, and then waited 20 minutes for the rain to ease. I got my camera out of its case, and managed to get this shot as I hovered over the camera with a large umbrella keeping off most of the rain. Mission accomplished, a walk up the hill revealed the field to be full of cows and calves. Being wary of big animals we decided to stick close to a dry stone wall to leave the field. The cows then stampeded for no apparent reason. I've never seen my mate hurdle a wall so fast, much to the amusement of the landowner at the bottom of the hill.
