I find it such a good abstraction because if focuses on the nail so strongly that it turns it to some kind of unexplainable main actor here, Saad. It is good for this "definition without a reason". And the geometry is well presented too, though I think that the subject had much more potential for composition. Still it is the scene in which the nail prevails so dominantly that it almost pops out of the image.
The textures of the wood show some medium-strong pixelation on some places. They are of less importance since that nail immediately absorbes one's look.

Without reading the about my mind went to the cross Jesus was crucified on and died. Going up to heaven.
Now I have seen the about I know it is a more peaceful device to go upward as well, in this case for another important man. Fine detail, not sure if the horizontal part is polished or out of focus.
A fine product made by an inventive mind, congrats.
