Thanks Susie - you're probably right, but he's still probably a lot happier now than before he was rescued from the abuse of his former life.

Great details AJ, like this picture, somekind of expression in it, we can feel in the eyes of the bear in which mood he's. Good work.

Great title AJ ~ excellent dof and detail .. I can't help wondering if he'd prefer to be in the wild catching fresh salmon and eating berries though :)

Thanks Ray. I think he is a pretty happy bear, despite being in a zoo. However, he is in a rather special part of the zoo, in an enclosure separate from the other animals, beside a tram stop where passersby can stop for a chat...

Known face, hehe :)
I think he's a poor one as every day the cars passing by make such a noise and he is at the front of the zoo... Maybe he got used to during these years...
You've captured him very well, with great face details!
Best, Ania

Excellent details my dear AJ and what a doleful expression. Great shot. I wonder just how much this animal enjoyed being 'rescued' my friend? Hope you are well. All the best....Ray

This is really good AJ, he actually looks like he's the worse for wear after a night out, not the usual view we have of bears. Can't understand why you didn't climb in and removed the distracting twig.. Regards, Gary
