Hi Marcio, I really like this one just the way it is. There is a kind of casualness to the image and at the same time it is like a Fellini movie image. Like a fantasy! Andre

Thanks a lot for the attachment, Marcio!
I'd go for the B&W still, but my impression was that a much darker background would help, in the sense of (almost) eliminating the two man behind the boy. As a (quick and dirty) idea of what I meant, I burned the background strongly (but also not neatly and cleanly.) I hope you understand now what I meant.
Thanks again and cheers!
Nick

Quick and dirty burn of the background as an additional idea for what it could look like |

Marcio, the mask stands out explicitely strongly netween the shadows, and then the eyes stand again as strongly between the highlights. Together with the somewhat "still" expression that the mask gives to the eyes it reaches the look and feel of... ancient egyptian statues of gods for me.
The exposure balance was ideal for that, I guess. Same goes for focus too. But this one... I coould really imagine it with no other guys on the darker background. They don't disturb there but I guess that the boy alone would raise the overall impact very strongly.
Cheers!
Nick

Hmmm. I'm sure it's a boy! A little prince I was going to say. Still, it's a nice moment of context.
