Very nice!
It must have been a sad day for you when you put down the trusty Fuji S5000. :)
But, you have to admit, there is a big difference in the quality once you get by the new learning curve.
Since I got my D200, I have hardly used my Fuji. However, my Son is getting a lot of good use out of it with his trips.

I find it the best one of all your images with deers, Dave! The coloring and the details of the animals (especially at the left) are very well captured. They stand out so well too, under the nice focus difference between them and the background. Your timing was perfect for catching one of them perfectly - it could be an image from a book about the fauna there.
The only small thing *could* be an almost invisibly tiny blue-ish tint on some areas of the fur - I don't know if it is really there or my eyes just play tricks because of the contrast of the fur against the snow.
Great shot indeed!

good capture, but the image seems to be a bit more sharpened a bit more ISO could have given a better appearance. So i Rate 6/7..
