yeah I think I saw something about a doco on him recently on the teev... I always hated the twin towers.. not a single bit of architecture in them

Had this image back at me today when I saw "man on wire"
It's a doco released in theatres about the guy who tight rope walked between the twin towers, and his friends that helped him.
Much footage in it of him walking across these towers, as a practice run, in 1973.
Enthralling film to see at the big screen Rog!

ahh mate its all structural... the steel work anyway.. the pylons are just decorations.. they werent required but were added for aesthetics
