hahahahaha , I see . They say " shai fiha sukkar min fadhlik " .. About Halal car !! it's a joke ! Khodro is a pure persian word for automobile. Khod means "Self" Ro means "Go" ...

Aziz, Yes, I remember I could order tea in KSA by asking for "chai fi azukar min fadlak".Alas I never had a chance to ask for "chai fi azukar min fadlik" hahahah. Though in the mountain area it would be I think.
The object is called a tea egg and has the size of a vy small egg. Its perforated. You hang it in a hot cup or pot of water. Fill the egg with little tea for a cup, etc.
Fijne avond. PS , do you drive a halahl car ? A khodro car ? I read they will make a special edition for women ! So you could buy one for your wife ;-)

........... Chai is also a popular item in the genre of South Asian restaurants known as Irani cafés. ............. Is this beautiful pot a tea pot? Then what is the chain and hook for ? I like the effects and colors of the image. Aziz

In Slavian languages "chai" means simply "tea", like they wrote on wikipedia. In Czech it's "caj" for example. Only we, Poles, have "herbata" not "chai", but still, we call the kettle "czajnik" ;)
The picture is very nice, with lovely colours!
Best, Ania
