About MM and I were in Chicago for three days last week. We were on a nice get-a-way. No children, no phone calls... just her and me and time. While walking near the old Water Tower in Chicago.(The water tower is directly behind me http://www.aviewoncities.com/chicago/watertower.htm ) MM and I were walking past and the lady on the right looked at me, offered a camera and asked if I would take a photo of their family. Ahhhh!!! HA!!!!!! I got another for my collection!!!! I took the camera, smiled politely (I am charming that way) and carefully explained to the lady, "I will take a photo for you but there is a price." She frowned slightly. I continued. "The price of me taking a photo of your family is one photo of your family for my collection. Whenever I do this for people, I take a photo for my collection. When people ask me who are those folks? I just smile and say, I don't know." The lady laughed... she handed me the camera. Before she took her place in the shot I heard he saying to herself, "That's funny." And while getting the focus and such correct I heard the man on the left say, "That is such a cool idea." I was ready to "snap" and said, "Ya gotta wave!" Well, here is another in my collection. People I do not know and will never meet again smiling and waving for a farmboy in Illinois.

LOL
I've done the opposite before: When they ask me to take their picture and hold out their camera, I smile, nod, and say "sure!" then take their pic with MY camera and walk on. (I usually relent and go back and shoot with their camera as well)
