At first, I thought the angle was wrong. They appeared like I were looking at the pictures from bottom up, but in that case, I wouldn't be able to see the reflections, right? The reflective surface would block my view. It took some mental effort to "flip" the images :) It should be a standard optical illusion. Maybe there is some way to avoid it, like make the reflective surface slightly visible. I hope this helps.
