The sequence of really nice, mature hues in combination with the half opened window... well, it has something very nice for itself, Claudia. Many could say that this subject is quite overused already, and it really may be that too. But the excellent definition and the good details remain always and timeless. It is a well shot image.
Some unfinished business near the edges are also there, no doubt. Still it conveys much, and it conveys much without screaming for acknowledgement. Simply a good photography work, which at the end is what we are all trying to accomplish.

PS... Maybe you could also work a little bit on the perspective, I am not sure whether I like that now that you are not looking straight at the wall but with an angle. You could use this technique to do that: http://hugin.sourceforge.net/tutorials/perspective/en.shtml

Hi Claudia,
È davvero molto bella. I would however take away a little strip from the bottom, so the green on the left doesn't distract from the main subject (now it seems to draw my eye away).
Maybe also bring out the greens a little bit more in the top left corner, so they contrast more.

Sì, era un edificio molto bello, era un mulino ad acqua... rovinato da un restauro dicutibile di prorpietari che l'hanno trasformato in un casale con piscina e poi l'hanno lasciato deperire anno dopo anno. :) Grazie Luca per il commento. Claudia
