I recall seeing a color version of this and if not mentioning it thought about a black and white...it is such a well composed shot that it works either way...I think my preference is the color only because of the added warmth to the image...compositionally it is a stunning image with the focus on the left side of the image

Great detail,great light,great composition-at that point, the computer of "that" site had just blow me off for saying good words- good choice of B&W , besides a story for we think about.My thanks, Armindo, for sharing this saturday afternoon and let me see what is a top rank photographer at work.
On my old fellow, you?re right.The red cast is due to "contrast", in PS, if I add more contrast it gets that redish cast.In the red cast and more contrast, usualy my option is for contrast.
