About This spot was a fav whilst on holiday in Northland,numerous return visits as we were camping only 40mins away...
Kohanga Bay is situated on Cape Karikari Peninsula(Far North East)
This adventure proved to me, that indeed we did have pristine clear tropical waters. These shells covered the beach in places & were quite pleasant to walk on as they were rather polished smooth.
Great safe spot for children also, loads of rock pooling to be had!o)
