About Perhaps a bit better than the other one, but still not a convincing capture of transparent on transparent. Any comments and suggestions would be welcome for that.

Small metaphor to quantum mechanics: An unobserved system which is more or less... the sum of all its possible wavefunctions - or say better, something that has the potential to manifest itself as something that will be decided according to what kind of observation and measurement you will do... later on! (I.e., before you measured the particle it was... something else! ;-))

On this image I also wonder why the heck the raindrops decided to form those chains on the glas instead of distributing over its surface in some more or less uniform, homogeneous, isotropic way. Was perhaps the surface of the glass itself not really uniformly finished? And if so, then why?

They would be more beautiful on the image, if the focus had been better, Irena-Marta. But still, many thanks for the nice comment.

Cheers!

Thanks a lot Aykaan!

Well, not as "très bon", really..

I wished a bit better focus of the drops, Claudia, but still I am glad of you like it.

Cheers!

Well, not really 7/7, Ali, but thank you very much, anyway.

Thanks a lot for the nice comment and extraneously generous rating, Mehul. It has its problems though, as Txules has pointed out. But even in case it were "outstanding" a 7 would be already enough, ey? ;-)

Cheers!

I'd prefer a better focus on the raindrops indeed, Txules! When trying to reduce the DoF extremely, then it gets hard to focus on such transparent things since both their front and back contours are visible. I think this was my mistake here, that I didn't really find the range of DoF that includes the drops and nothing but the drops. I wanted to have them in focus exclusively, for making some kind of reference to the "fuzziness" of observation in the sense of QM, but it didn't work exactly.

Thanks a lot for the nice detailed comment!

Hi Nick,

This is outstanding work, I might not understand how such a behavior is shown by water on glass here, as a picture, its an amazing natural abstract

Thank you for sharing this one

this is really good Nick, a very intriguing image probably related to quantum mechanics :), I'm not sure whether I'd prefer a better focus on the raindrops or not, both alternatives seems to be very appealing to me, anyway a very fine piece
take care....txules
