I see! So, indeed then a hard problem for finding out the part of the facade that works best...
I am sure you will find that out, Saad!
Cheers!

the best thing dear Nick,is to do it some other time when the shadows are not there, but you have to zoom to the crosses cause they are very small regarding the whole facade, which is a huge one, regards, Saad.

Thank you very very much, Saad!
Well... quite a hard case there and not because of the shadow. One could also try a shot at some other time of the day when the shadow is not there. But the facade you are interested for stands on a rather disadvantageous scene. Hard to say how to get a good one with only the facade.. Perhaps it just needs to abandon the idea of a partial view that contains nothing else than the facade and try a wider angle in which then the facade is the crown jewel of the scene, I don't know.
Cheers!

Hi dear Nick, the complete shot include an overshadowed door to the left,I have just cropped the door, and adjusted the levels,to accentuate the crosses,my best regards, Saad.

Very good colors and light on this one, Saad! The image really looks very very vivid, and if we also take the good details and textures it is even better.
The composition looks unfinished. I tried to level it (1° rotation to the left) and crop the lighter part of the wall at the left but it dodn't help much. I can't say what exactly would be a better composition since I don't have any impression of the rest of the image, but perhaps cutting less and having a more "integrated" view could help.
Cheers!
Nick

dear Jen,this is Hagia Sofia, when the Muslims took Istanbul in 1400 AD,this church is converted into a mosque, and remaind as such until the fall of the Ottoman Empire, and the republic of Modern Turkey is established, the Christian then demand possession of the Mosque,to resolve the conflict, the authoroties converted the Mosque to a museum,as far as I know the building is the same as it was built at 600 AD, my regards, Saad

no dear Harry, they are of Christian origin, but the Muslims kept them in their place,no changes have been done to the crosses, even there is a super and bigger event in this mosque to be told at later post,my regards, Saad.
