About This is a film shot of the Tobacco Roots in the fall. I live about 10 miles from the foot of them. This was scanned and converted from a print. Not sure of the settings from 5 years ago. Cleaned my office and found this. Be well, Stan

thanks Ania, these are my mountains and my life blood. I have held these close to my heart for many years. I have hiked, camped, fished, hunted, cut firewood and rock climbed in them. They are so beautiful and so full of life.
Be well, Stan

Thanks Dave, this was a fall shot before winter had gotten serious yet. The mountains had the first coating and the nights were getting cooler.

Nice capture of the distant mountains, and I like the contrasting colours, Stan!

Thanks David, the snow brings out the shapes against the blue big sky. I appreciate the hugs and comment.

Harry, there are some beautiful small, clear and very accessible lakes. I fish and hike in several areas of the Tobacco Roots. Favorite lakes are McKelvey, Cliff, Twin Lakes, Sure Shot and Cataract near Pony. The sunrises, sunsets, and spring are all part of my joys in life. I also get recharged standing on top of the ridge of the Bridger Bowl waiting to drop into 1 meter of deep powder in Jan. when it is 0 degress F with some well waxed skis. Thanks for the positive words and a little philosophy to go with them. You are a good man!
Be well, Stan

I saw on google earth the numourous lakes on top. I bet its your 'own' place to get to your self and let go off stress, anger, old pain. And absorb the green energy of plants and water recharge your soul.
I have noticed spring blossom recharges your soul.

Thanks Harry. This was from a few years ago. The weather changes but the mountains hold their own against time and the onslaught of civilization or the lack of it. These mountains have become an important part of my life.
Be well, Stan
