Hi Nick, for me "worth it" is enough, may be not apply to others,I get my earnings from some other job, photography for me is a hobby,I have no plans to get something from practicing it,it is nothing for me but a runaway from life problems,to forget the unforgettable,it is a whole world that I look at through the monitor, and I talk to through the keyboard.
this is my story with shooting,I don't practice photography now,may be you have noticed that all my photos are tow years back dated, the good stuff to be post are about to ceases, and I have plans to go to turkey to fill my bag again, may be and just may be I have the chance to meet someone from UF their, see worth it is enough for me,have a nice day and night,
yours
S.Salem.

It is definitely more than just "worth it", Saad! Still some irony is a good way to face the typical problems we perhaps all share, ey? You see, we wish to do photography, and how great it could be to somehow be able to live on that, but unfortunately earning for life is still so hard to achieve with photography. Many too many think that the whole process of preparations for the photo-session, then getting out and running, shooting the photos, developing, etc, etc, is just so "easy", ey? ;-) Somehow I have the impression we are all idealists here. We have our differences and perhaps also troubles, but we all resemble some kind of "Charlie Chaplin", driven by an idealistic naivity, which also allows many too many to consider photography as "so easy". So, some small humoristic note is (for me) also necessary for just continuing to put idealism beyond everything else, even if I still need to pay for my appartment, buy my food, etc.

All that we keep on seeing with a joke on our lips.

Cheers!

Nick

I have to correct(nothing here IS a lot),is ,is missing in my feedback.and this my answer to your question.
I wish to replace a lot by extensive,so much, great, big,or infinite,if the language permits.
yes we have been paid less than zero per cent, but the amount of a lot is to know some UF members,to talk to them,to share ideas, and very particular to me,someone at someplace to know that Saad do exists,
isn't this worth it all?
my best regards,
yours
S.Salem.

Why, aren't the photographers paid for only 5% of their work in Mosul? If this is true then expect me to move to your place in the next few weeks! ;-)

Cheers!

I would like to talk with you indefinitely,BUT my line today is out of service,I am using a slow modem, yesterday I cant able to log on the web,my excuse to run away for now beside using a slow modem is I must go for a foto-session, another concept that is used for so many years! Give the photographer some foto-session, let him run and work, and pay him almost nothing for that!
a concept that I agree on except for the last phrase because nothing here a lot,but disguised in NOTHING,
have a nice time
yours
Saad.

The concepts can never be "time proven", Saad, simply because we can't know if they will be proven wrong in some time in future. But they can be proven to be very usable by experience, which is nothing else that observing them over a long time. But so it goes. Any cognition can only happen not by fonding the "true" but by excluding the false. Thus, any concept must also offer at least one criterion for falsifictaion, or else it is not a concept but mythology. Mythology is always "true" ;-)

Those concepts that have survived until now are not proven to be right. They are just not proven to be wrong yet, and thus they remain usable as the very treasure that we share all over the world.

Now I must go for a foto-session, another concept that is used for so many years! Give the photographer some foto-session, let him run and work, and pay him almost nothing for that! ;-) This concept survived to our days and so it seems usable, but something tells me that it can't be right! ;-)

Cheers!

thank you dear Nick for this feedback,it explains a lot, there are some concepts that are humanity's possessions, and are time prove, those are better spreads anyway,in a time where the concepts are very concealed,my very best,
Saad.

The own concepts are most of the time very convincing to their owners, Saad. That's nothing new, so you're the only one to decide what to post. Fortunately enough any concept ist still matter of investigation. So we proceed step by step to always better photography.

Cheers!

thank you Nick, for being constructive to my first arranged shot,I have shown the photo to other UF member before posting, and the advice came not to post it,I do some changes over it and post it because I am so convinced by its concept,my very best,
Saad.

I tend to think that including the whole thing in the image would do good here, Saad, though this way the contents are better visible. I find the color palette very appealing too, as it is so consistent and quiet - both on the foreground and the background.

A bit better focus also for the many lines and curves of the dried out grass on the foreground would do good, I guess. And perhaps moving a bit to the left or the right for putting the second haning thing not exactly behind the first one. It would complement the composition, I guess.

Cheers!
