Lovely macro Peter,

Great colours and the focus is crystal on the eye, just as you want it to be. Just too bad about the left wing that is a bit soft,still a marvelous shot though. Well Done!

Lovely contrasting colours Peter. Very nteresting insect too. IMO the DoF is a bit shallow and the insect seems to float on the flower. I presume you used natural light, leading to a large aperture. A slight change of angle would show some of the flower parts in focus too, anchoring the insect to the flower. Regards.
