umm No mate I have been teaching Y9 kids photography at the local PCYC (Police Citizens and Youth Club) as a volunteer for a couple of years now.. its only a short course, four weeks and obviously one cant teach the kids photography in that time but its a gentle nudge in the (hopefully) right direction, this girl actually cracked out a couple of ripper shots.. I will load them on my website soon (after I ask her today if I can) in the Students Works section

You got more time for these guys now Roger or is it completely new undertaking?
I was told once that there was no seperate word in the maori for teacher and student. i.e. they treasured that the learning goes both ways.
I know you know this. I'm just really glad of your ability to share the sense of adventure in this monkeying around. Look forwards to seeing how they do.

That's gotta be good for your self concept getting a portrait like that!
The green is background is superb! Huge zoom? There is a sense of the spots of light travelling on grandly behind her!

Super shot Roger. The concentration of the subject is visually very engaging. Bringing out the subject with the warm light just enhances the whole composition

The light illuminates your subject as though it is a spotlight... The expression is most engaging all I can think is cameras they are a quirky thing :-)) . Cheers, G
