About One of the most amazing shots I have yet to acquire was actually after our session had concluded, and I was walking her to the car.

I saw the light from the window and the lobby's stone floor doing magic things to her face and eyes, and told her to put her things down and face me. ::click::

I only took two shots, and this is the other one (I posted one earlier). I went back and decided to put more empahsis on her amazing eyes, and this time leave more skin color.

What do you think?

Aw, thanks, Pam!
I honestly don't have much of a feel for how good my work is, but I am pleased that every single shoot just gets stronger and stronger. THAT much I can see (and it excites me).

Thanks, Erin.
I am really happy with the Sigma 28-70. It is a great lens for its modest price, and I was really hungry for a lens that would stay at f/2.8 when I zoomed out.

The 20D has been rock solid for me for the past 6 years - I love it.

Thanks for your comment on my lighting; that is one of my passions in photography and believe it is what can make or break a shot.

Aw, i love the contrast and clarity. you're right about the lighting and her eyes! amazing! so do you like the 28-70mm? i've been thinking about the 85mm, but worried it might be too macro for people shots.

do you like the 20d? i use the 5d and cannot find anything wrong with it. what is your favorite lens??

sorry to bombard you with questions! i love your use with lighting.

cheers
Erin

SHe is beautiful paul and both of these photos are great. A pure B&W with a dark background may bring her skin tones to the fore even more. Here eyes are classic and warrant a close-up or two (I will get lost there!). FIne work!

Thanks, Julie.
I had reduced saturation on the other shot for just that reason. Her skin tone is a little sallow, and I suspect it's because the floor was a yellowish stone, and it affected her skin color.

Hey Paul, I think I like the other one better. Her eyes here look amazing but there's something about her skin color that bothers me not sure exactly what...hmmmmmm
