Thanks a lot for the details about the image, Wolf! Now I understand that! Yes, no background is likely to turn anything into a pose, but one that lacks the typical "super-star" attitude, especially when the protagonist in a reflective mood.

Hmmm, I must try that with some people I know here.

She did do many spontaneous movements but this was at the beginning, she was in a reflective mood or so. I made it a pose by doing things to have a neutral b/g , white. Now 'Linda'is the only subject there is and using that resting moment it has become a pose.

Very interesting info about the image, Wolf! How did you achieve to turn it to looking also like a pose? (Apart from using the usual hacksaw ;-))

Cheers!

Thanks Nick, I agree on the left/right item. The pose was not arranged but spontaneous but i processed it to make it look like a pose.

PS, the tree she sits on was cut with a hacksaw ;-)

A good sense for a combination of white key with an aged, washed out look, Wolf! I find the very nice details, especially on the face, to be of importance, as they add much to the character of the moment. I would only consider leaving some of the left out and taking more of the right, though of course I don't know anything about the look of the right side. But in general I find it a good one to look at, as it has something of a "pleasant snap" and something of an arranged classical look.

Cheers!

Nick
