Lisa, you seem to have a wonderful knack for capturing seemingly simple moments that are inately sublime and emotion-filled. Here is a perfect example. As opposed to a mundane pet shot, you manage to rise above. Tri-X (sometimes I *really* miss shooting in film) was a perfect choice here. Wonderful.
