Such a strong, modern and powerful image, that says so much by avoiding the typical "theatralic" announcement of its own, Robert! The timing and the lighting worked hand in hand!
And to raise the power even more, the leading lines follow the transition from strong hues to washed out hues, from hard details to softer ones, from expression to impression, as my eyes are really directed from the definitness of the gypsy girl to the uncertainty of the background.
The detail difference from the foreground to the background also follow you overall composition, and at the same time they add much tension, which makes it look less static and much more dynamich - like a singular moment ripped out of time continuum. And since you avoid all that overload of artificially introduced "meanings", it is an image that remains in mind!
Great work! And also unbelievably *exact* work!
