I like the pose and framing, but think the exposure level could come way up. Don't worry if the background gets over-exposed; just focus on getting her face as bright as possible without blowing it out.

From my point of view I see several things that need attention. First the pose, her head appears to be pushed forward which isn't in her best interest and shows too much of the top of her head. The front of her dress. around the waist needs to be straightened.
If you have photoshop, I would be inclined to adjust the tones. in CS2 image/adjust/highlight & shadows will fix this.
I would also go around the model with the pen tool and then blur the background (not something many people like) but it helps when the background can be distracting.

Thank you soo much! Im just starting with the whole idea of using models, so this is a very welcome critique.

you need to be more aware of the background.. that bright horizontal line.. needs to be eliminated either by cloning it out or preferably being a photographer first and photoshopper second.. last thing you do before you depress the shutter is to run your eye round the viewfinder.. then all things that are not relevant to the image spring to life when you disconnect for your subject and start to see what’s in the viewfinder then you can put her in front of another backdrop because the two light horizontal lines are difficult to clone out (I just tried and yeah well ) so better to save yourself the work and simply place her more carefully.. and I know it probly how she likes her hair but I would push that bit on the left hand side back so we can see her face or a tad more of her left eye

Bella la modelo, aunque tal vez no es la mejor expresión que pueda dar.

Un abrazo!
