When preparing for a deep dive, humpbacks will arch (hump) their back and raise their tail flukes above water. It is this pronounced arching of the back that has earned the humpback whale its common name.
How well taken Alvin, I am very interested in whales, always try to find them when in Africa or else, I see them, but never really close! This is just a perfect part of its backside, not the most elegant part...loll Have you more parts of them? Jenxx
