Very nice this photo.
I wonder how it is in color.
In my monitor it seems a little out of focus but maybe it is
my display.
I enjoyed you black and whit pictures.

Hi Jake..*smile* you have the beginnings of rembrandt lighting here but not quite dramatic enough and for a well light portrait it needs a bit of work.

To make the lighting more even you need a fill flash....that will not only get rid of the dark circles around your models eyes but will put a catch light there to make them come alive.

The image also seems a little soft. Always try and focus on the eyes...if the eyes are sharp the DOF can drop off towards the yet leave you with a well exicuted shot.
