Love the 'idea'. How about the same set up with tomatoes? I'm thinking black..white..and red...would really "pop"? Maybe some slices of watermelon..for the red..black and green and white? Endless subjects I have in mind for you Terrence as this picture shows quite the creative thinking.
Well, I think the lime on top is fine, I love the plate, or lack thereof, and the knife. In fact I love the entire set up, makes me wish I had thought of it, but I would have used a half lime instead of slices and the top one would have been placed facing down. Just my two cents...*grin*

OK....here goes... I like the way the knife angles across the image and how the plate disappears on the top side...makes for a very interesting perspective.
But, not sure I like the lime slice on the top side?? Think I want to see the lime you cut these peices off of there which would put some "real green" in this image and make it more dynamic. Maybe have the two slices on the together?? Want to see some "real green" in this image. This is definitely one that you should play with more. You also need to get rid of that shadow created by the knife....for that stark white effect you seem to be after....anyway...theres me thoughts ...*smile* Maggie
