The contrast of the trees, to the sand, to the sky is remarkable. The grain detail of the sand in the foreground is a great way to lead us in to the backgroung. Excellent composition. Finally, the timing of the shot with the level of the sunset is great. I love shooting sand dunes in the United States, and really enjoy those photos shared from other locations on earth. :)
