About	Flax flowers. (N.Z. flax is a form of lilly unlike N. hemisphere flax which I think is a defferent genus.) Am making an outlandish camera for bitumen plate photography. As it is here may providing a nice black box with shafted light for nature study.

your about is a tad confusing.. like some truncated language.. lovely image tho.. beautiful.. shine on!

The coloring and the light are both great here, Ian, as they make it look like some indefinite or even symbolic view of an insect or a scorpion. Not much of natural history to me but it has much of an abstraction of a real look the way you took this image.

But the top part of the composition is somewhat unecessary. I cropped that off and cloned off some remaining parts of the plant. (Attachment) I find it more... rounded up this way.
