Hi Roberta,

This image has potential, but what it is lacking to me is Light. The absence of it in this image makes the color duller then what it could be, given the right time of day. It needs more contrast to bring out the tonal values of the subject matter at hand. Without that my eye does not know where to go and is left with a aimlessness which I don't Imagine you want from a landscape shot. Create a focus by having the focal area stand out by being different from all the surrounding area. This can be done by contrasting tones or colors. Combined with a composition that creates tension by maybe having the focal point off centered somewhat.
