Bautiful Blue sky here Dave and it looks like winter approaching - I've only been there a few times many years ago ...but I do know Yosemite is a photographers dream ! Nice shot my dear !!!!!

Thanks, Bernardo. Actually, he couldn't run anywhere in the park. That is what I hate about the National Parks, they don't allow dogs to be off leash. (though I admit he did get some run time in while we were way away from civilization).

Thanks, John... one of the spectacular things about Yosemite is the ever changing landscape, from barren to forested.
Maybe the perception of lack of clarity is from the low bank of clouds in front of the mountain, causing it to look blurred? Or maybe the frosted ground?

that is excellent too... amazing the difference between the enpty from trees area and the full forest at the back, I could say it might be a bit more clarity (as I see the other last shot of your portfolio) but still it's an excellent image (lol...in rate of 100, I give you 97...in rate of 7, of course 7!)
