A very well thought out composition, Claudia! Nothing missing and nothing superfluous - just the right ingredients for a rounded up image. The perspective is exactly right to enhance the "passing by" - the "being left behind", that you captured under a good lighting/focus here. Especially the fact that the old man sits in the shadow while the young people step forward much more energetically in the sunlight, provides a strong antithesis that justifies the title.
Very well done.

Excellent the contrast here, the emotion contrast I must say between the old person and the young couple, I could say one stop faster exposure and less ISO speed with wider aperture could help a bit on the very bright areas but still an excellent snapshot capture dear Claudia.
