I would say using the smallest f stop that you have. That will make everything tack sharp. Always use a tripod for all closeup pictures. Your color is great. Don.

Hi Renee

This is a nice shot. Good composition and the depth of field is good which blurs the background. My only criticism is that the tulip looks like its floating in mid air. Try using a tripod, slower shutter speed and experiment with a larger aperture to bring the stem in to focus but still leaving the background blurred. Sorry if that's harsh, not meant to be, just trying to be helpful.
