Who would have thought, an appealing photograph of a dirty wall with graffiti on it. Looking through your portfolio it can be seen you have an amazing way of turning the mundane, the cluttered, the unsightly into something to be looked at and perversly enjoyed. Still trying to figure out what it is you do that makes it so, seems a combination of good composition and fine exposure control, so far. I like the contrast and texture in this shot. The black top and the white bottom with white writing on the top, the broken, jagged line of the division. It works very well. I like that the graffiti is only on the top, leaving a "clean" bottom. There are some famous photographs of graffiti but mainly because of what the graffiti says. Good shot IMO, quite interesting (maybe JFK supported the 49ers? ;)) And thanks for your kind comments on my Protected Pool photograph, I will have a bash at dodging and burning the sky, thanks :)

I cropped the top at the roof line, but I know what you mean.

wonderful texture and moment - I would wish for more crop from the top so we view the text and then the wonderful white texture but that is just an opinion...

I was particularly amused by the obviously American and unprofound graffiti in an old Mexican building. JFK and 49 are unconnected (as far as I know). It actually says "49ers", an American Football team.
