About So many of the homes and areas in Lisboa seemed to have a life and pace of their own - a miniworld. THis looked almost as a miniatureworld to me.

You describe it so well and I only wish I had had more time to see more of Lisboa and Portugal in general. A place that has much more to offer than I thought.
Thanks for your great comment, Tony:-)

Lovely colour contrasts and window reflections, the street lamp seems to hold the composition together. You've definately caught some of the magic of Portugal in this scene...it's a paradise for the photogapher,so many strong contrasts of colour,of inner city decline and of elegance.....the best thing..the people,so welcoming and hospitable.
Best wishes, Tony

Aaah so happy to hear from you, Patrick. You say exactly what I felt when taking this - that it was like being inside a dollhouse!

Thank you, Rajib! Oh I havenīt learned all the good stuff about Nikon D80 yet, but I enjoy the possibility of making multiple exposures, the ISO-range and the broad variety of settings in general that can easyly be changed. I could wish for slightly more sharpness on the objective though. Still an excellent camera! Have fun with it:-)
Best wishes
Annemette
